JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Indonesian Ministry of Health seeks to meet the oxygen needs for COVID-19 patients in various hospitals through cooperation between countries and the private sector.
"The cooperation starts from converting the needs of the gas industry into fulfilling medical oxygen, as well as importing oxygen," said the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Vaccination Spokesperson Siti Nadia Tarmizi when delivering a PPKM press release on the FMB9 YouTube channel, which was monitored from Jakarta, on Wednesday (07/21/2021).
Nadia said the Indonesian government cooperates with all elements of society, entrepreneurs, startup companies, community institutions, and others.
She said the government has also received donations from a number of friendly countries in the form of oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, and liquid oxygen. "The aid have arrived from Singapore, Australia, Temasek, Indorama, Shopee, Pertamina, and Tanoto, among others," Nadia said.
