MATARAM, NETRALNEWS.COM - Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini has officially opened the ATENSI Creative Center (SKA) at Paramita Center in Mataram, on Thursday (10/14/2021). The Minister advised children to continue to be creative and innovate to increase the added value of the products displayed at SKA.

"So you are here not only able to create products, but also to find out how these products can have added value so that they have high selling power," said Tri Rismaharini, also known as Risma.

Also present were members of Commission VIII of the House of Representatives, Special Staff to the Minister of Social Affairs, Echelon I and II Officials of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Regional Representatives Council, West Lombok Regent, Head of the National Library, and Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Library and Archives Service.

When observing the welding skills workshop, Risma gave an example to the children of making iron flower pots with more precision and neatness. That way, the higher the quality of the product, the more the middle to upper class can glance at with a higher price.

Like other creative centers, Paramita's creative center is a center for entrepreneurship and vocational development as well as media for promoting the works of beneficiaries in one area. This center will also become an empowerment area to create independent entrepreneurial embryos in Mataram City and its surroundings.

At the ATENSI Creative Center, there are outlets that residents can visit, such as culinary and Parama Coffee, laundry, grocery stores, and handicraft centers, and the Reading Corner in collaboration with the National Library.

In addition, there are also workshops as a vehicle for training and therapy for beneficiaries, namely tiam mushroom cultivation, fish cultivation, Klanceng bee cultivation, production welding skills, carpentry and beauty skills.

ATENSI Support Assistance and Entrepreneurship Stimulant for PKH KPM Graduates

A number of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support aid worth a total of IDR826,622,700 were also delivered to 462 beneficiaries, namely orphans, people with disabilities, and the elderly in the city of Mataram, Central Lombok Regency, North Lombok Regency, and West Lombok Regency.

The assistance includes accessibility support, savings for orphans, basic needs and nutrition as well as entrepreneurship assistance.

Azra Ferista Olivia (15 years old) feels grateful to get the government's attention. Her enthusiasm is to keep fighting, not to give up, and to continue to reach her goals, like the message of his late father who died due to COVID-19.

"Father said this: never be afraid to move forward to be better. Everyone cares about you, don't ever think that your dreams will end here," she recalled.

It was the message that made her strong to face the conditions of grief and rise.

Another beneficiary is Nurhalimah, the mother of Muhammad Ilyas (6 years old), a child with a physical disability who also has lung problems, kept on trying to take her child for treatment for her son's recovery.

"I've taken my child for treatment everywhere. But my child hasn't healed yet. I'm glad Ilyas got aid in the form of an adaptive wheelchair. Because all this time Ilyas has been carried. He can't move on his own at his age. I'm sure one day Ilyas will be able to walk," she said.

Meanwhile, stimulant assistance in the form of entrepreneurial support tools was also given to five Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH) who had graduated, with assistance worth IDR2.5 million each.
