JAKARTA, NNC - PT Tugu Pratama Indonesia (Tugu Insurance) guarantees Lion Air Group for accident insurance claims payment on Lion Air JT-610 which crashed in Karawang, West Java, on Monday, Oct 29.
"We as an insurance company are ready to pay 100% of the liability claims to the heirs and insured parties of Lion Air Group," Tugu Insurance CEO Indra Baruna said in an official statement on Saturday, Nov 3.
Regarding the claim disbursement process, Indra affirms that Tugu Insurance's obligations and commitments are to settle claims quickly. Tugu Insurance is ready to implement it immediately. Coordination and close collaboration with all related parties is a prerequisite for the speed of the process. Indra said pertaining to the value of insurance coverage for passengers, all are stipulated in the policy agreement.
