Samosir Regency Seek Investments to Develop Lake Toba Tourism (kemenpar)

SAMOSIR, NETRALNEWS.COM - Deputy Regent of Samosir Regency, Juang Sinaga, says the regency's administration welcomes investors that want to invest in Samosir Island, as an effort to advance Lake Toba tourism.

Juang hopes that all investors who will invest in Samosir Island can pay attention to environmental sustainability aspects and maintain local content in the region.

"We are very grateful with the initiative of the Indonesia Ministry of Tourism, we pick each other between the regencies and the Ministry of Tourism. Our hope for investors brought by the Ministry of Tourism now has a truly real seriousness that will occur in this district," said Juang.

With the commitment of the high Samosir District Government, and the support of the 2019 Ministry of Tourism's Physical DAK of IDR 6,717,114,000 and Non-Physical DAK of IDR 913,038,000 and the participation of investors, the Ministry of Tourism believes Lake Aek Natonang Destinations will grow.

It can even be one of the tourist destinations in Samosir Regency, which is expected to have a positive impact on improving the welfare of the local community.

This is in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism, that the implementation of tourism in principle provides benefits for the welfare of the community.
