JNE Seek Alternative Routes to Transport Goods during May 22 Protests (special)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM -- The ongoing 22 May protests have affected the logistics business. Logistics company JNE also has problems in delivering goods to the affected areas.

"Until now, JNE's operational activities, both pick up and delivery, are still running normally and smoothly except to a number of areas that were closed by the authorities," said JNE VP of Marketing Eri Palgunadi in his statement on Wednesday (5/22/2019 )

The volume of shipment of goods is also still fairly normal. JNE operations are still running safely.

"The number of shipments is still normal, because the location of the action of delivering aspirations by the masses is only at certain points or not extensive, so that until now there has been no loss that JNE has experienced," he said.

JNE also prepares a number of strategies in dealing with the current situation. JNE sent goods to the affected location until the situation was conducive. Even shipping goods is also done through the nearest and safest alternative route.

"JNE arranges delivery times by waiting for a conducive situation where the lines closed by the police have been reopened, so that delivery officers can pass it," he said.
