Ministry of Villages Partner with PT OCR to Develop Village Refueling Stations (kemendes)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Indonesia Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Areas, and Transmigration has collaborated with PT Octa Citra Rajawali (PT OCR) regarding technology and energy-based populist economic development programs or development of the Villages Fuel Oil Station Post Program (Pomdes) in villages, disadvantaged areas and transmigration areas .

The cooperation was carried out after Secretary General of Ministry of Villages Anwar Sanusi and President Director of OCR PT Omar Aram Pujo Kristhanto signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or joint memorandum of understanding at the Ministry of Villages Office.

The aims and objectives set out in this collaboration are a joint effort to utilize existing resources to help each other, support in the framework of developing Pomdes. In addition, it aims to develop and develop Pomdes in villages, disadvantaged areas and transmigration areas in increasing the prosperity and welfare of rural communities.

Regarding the duties and responsibilities in this collaboration, the Ministry of Villages is responsible for identifying Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) or rural business economic groups as business actors who are ready to develop and build Pomdes. besides that it also provides facilitation, coordination and guidance to support the development of the Pomdes business.

PT OCR, in the collaboration will provide information on the Pomdes business mechanism, help facilitate partnerships with banking financial institutions for capital development of the village office, provide fuel availability for Pomdes businesses according to the agreement, provide standardization of prices below retail and fuel quality in accordance with national fuel quality and provide training in the management of the village health office.

"The Pomdes program is a technology and energy-based populist economic program with details of the Pomdes program, among others, the supply of fuel oil, CNG, groceries sales, other basic needs such as pulses, electricity tokens, and Payment Online Bank (PPOB) products and market places in villages," Anwar said.

According to him, the Pomdes program uses digital electronic technology and the application of Cash on Pomdes based on text base and artificial intelligence to support all sales, purchasing, supervision, reporting, evaluation and profile points of the village office.

"The Pomdes program is a village-based economic ecosystem initiative. Later, the villagers will have business opportunities with business credit facilities to become fuel, gas, pulse, basic needs, and open online businesses by marketing superior products in their villages," he said.

According to the Secretary General, this program can increase the income of rural communities and support the government's energy security program because of the supply of gasoline to villages. Hopefully, with this collaboration, village economic growth and the income of rural communities will continue to increase.
