JCI Rises 0.66 Percent a Week after Eid Holidays (idx)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COMA week after the long Eid al-FItr holidays, trading data for the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) was closed positively. The movement of the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the closing of this week was at 6,250.26, up 0.66% from the position of 6,209.12 the previous week.

Yulianto Aji Sadono, Corporate Secretary of IDX, said the value of market capitalization also increased by 0.67 percent to IDR 7,119.32 trillion from IDR 7,072.08 trillion in the previous week.

"The average daily exchange frequency also increased by 4.73 percent to 474,180 transactions from 452,780 transactions in the previous week," he said in a written statement on Saturday (06/15/2019).

Meanwhile, for the average IDX daily transaction value decreased by 24.87 percent to IDR 8.67 trillion from IDR 11.54 trillion in the previous week

The average daily transaction volume also slumped 16.39 percent to 12.60 billion units of shares from 15.07 billion units of shares a week earlier.

Throughout 2019, foreign investors still recorded net buy of IDR 57.610 trillion.
