JAKARTA NETRALNEWS COM -  State-owned pawning company PT Pegadaian (Persero) has won the prestigious award from HR Asia, the Best Companies to Work for Asia 2019 award. The award was given in the category of The Best Work Place.

The award is an appreciation of the success of Pegadaian as a BUMN in carrying out digital transformation, from starting to fix Human Resources (HR), products, services, work processes and work culture based on corporate governance (GCG) and the performance of PT Pegadaian (Persero) based on information technology.

"We really appreciate this award from HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2019. "This award will continue to encourage us to be consistent in implementing GCG on an ongoing basis, by building a digital-based transparency system and developing big data and the human resources we have," said Director of HR and Law, Edi Isdiwarto, Jakarta, Friday (6/14).

The scoring system is carried out through three processes, namely the company description, a sample survey of 30 employees related to aspects of the work environment, and presentations on company practices.

Edi stated that the award would provide a motivation in achieving Pegadaian's vision and mission. So that it will create developments in increasing capabilities that include knowledge, skills, and attitude.

"To increase labor productivity at Pegadaian. So the company has strategies - strategies that are prepared, including through increasing competence, improving welfare, benefits, competitive compensation and performance-based."

As it is known, Pegadaian is increasingly focused on implementing the principles of developing talent management and human resources that prioritize good corporate governance. Therefore Pegadaian has a Clean-Up Pawnshop program, which consists of the Clean, Clean, and Clean Environment Program. This program aims to encourage the implementation of GCG in and around Pegadaian.

Pegadaian is also focusing on the Groom Talent (G-Talent) program which aims to develop internal talents. Therefore the company in preparing HR is taken seriously to welcome the new era.
