Canceling Grab Orders Can Now be Fined (tuntasonline)

JAKARTA NETRALNEWS COM - Ride hailing platform Grab has implemented a new system in the form of fines for customers who cancel trips as of June 17, 2019.

"There will be a fine for canceling the trips as of June 17, 2019. That is to reduce the occurrence of cancellations," Grab announced to users on Tuesday (6/18/2019).

Grab advises customers to learn the five tips for ordering vehicles in order to reduce cancellations (canceled or canceled).

First, make sure the customer is ready to be picked up before ordering (not still grooming, still shopping, still waiting in line, hasn't dropped off the elevator, hasn't finished drinking coffee or eating, etc.).

Second, make sure you have entered the pick up address and destination correctly. Third, order when it's on the pick-up point.

"Although there is a waiting time of 10 minutes, make sure there is a place or not allow the vehicle to stop for long," he explained.

Fourth, add a message on GrabChat via a short message, voice or image about your location or the clothes you use to make it easier for the driver to find you.

Fifth, use polite Indonesian language to avoid misunderstanding between the driver and the passenger.

"Thank you for being a loyal Grab customer. Let's appreciate the time and effort of the driver who has gone to the pickup point. Let us work together to reduce the number of canceled orders," Grab said.
