JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - As a continuation of the "Love the Family, Love the Earth" campaign to welcome the 2019 National Customer Day from August to September 2019, Allianz Indonesia has carried out mangrove trees planting for each electronic policies the company has issued. Choosing an electronic policy means reducing paper usage by 26 sheets in each issued print policy.
The response from customers for conducting the campaign to welcome the National Customer Day showed encouraging results, marked by a jump in the number of electronic policies of 114 percent during the campaign period.
As a manifestation of the company's commitment to not only provide protection to families, but also protect the earth for the future of children as well, 3,000 mangrove trees have been planted by volunteers who are employees of Allianz Indonesia in the Muara Tawar mangrove forest in Bekasi, on September 21, 2019.
On the same occasion, Allianz Indonesia, through the Allianz Peduli Foundation, also carried out one of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for the environmental pillar through cleaning up trash in Muara Tawar, Bekasi, as a form of Allianz Indonesia's participation in the 2019 World Cleanup Day (WCD) movement.
More than 100 employees of Allianz Indonesia were part of the volunteers that make up 18 million volunteers in the largest clean-up movement in the world that is carried out simultaneously in 157 countries. This activity succeeded in collecting 153 kilograms of waste.
Also attending the event were Karin Zulkarnaen - Allianz Life Indonesia's Chief Marketing Officer, Mochamad Reza - Chairperson of the Allianz Peduli Foundation, Ni Made Daryanti - Secretary of the Allianz Peduli Foundation, Arini Bachtiar - Allianz Indonesia's Chief Marketing Officer, Nyean Soon Chin - Chief Financial Officer of Allianz Utama Indonesia, as well as several senior management of Allianz Indonesia.
