JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Indonesia Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati says human capitals are the core that will drive the economy forward, where artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing become very dominant. This was conveyed at a seminar in Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang
"You study at university, don't just study in class, don't just look at the text book, you also need to have insight into what kind of skills are needed in future jobs. So it's not about memorizing, but whether your intellectual mind can develop to become a human who has critical thinking, analytical thinking so as not to become a victim of technology. Skills in analytical thinking, critical thinking, creativity, leadership, emotional intelligence will still be needed in the future," she said.
Sri Mulyani also asked academics and intellectual groups such as UMM to collaborate with the government in using the State Budget to prepare human capitals to fill with knowledge, fill with good character and give good value.
"I hope Universitas Muhammadiyah will become one of the universities that provides solutions to the problems of Indonesia. I want to say to all of you as a young generation will hold the relay to continue the journey of the Republic of Indonesia in the future. You must never be tired of loving Indonesia," concluded the Minister.
