JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Indonesia as investment adviser for the Jakarta Provincial Government.
The appointment was officially outlined in Governor Decree No. 1380/2019 on the Appointing of PricewaterhouseCoopers Indonesia Advisory Limited Liability Company as a Regional Government Investment Advisor.
Based on documents uploaded from the website jdih.jakarta.go.id, PwC Indonesia Advisory is the winner of a work package for management/financial/human resources consulting services for the provision of investment analysis documents for the inclusion of regional capital in fiscal year 2019.
The legal basis for the appointment of a professional service office is in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 52 Year 2012 on Guidelines for the Management of Regional Government Investment (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia of 2012 Number 754).
"Appointing Pricewaterhousecoopers Indonesia Advisory Limited Liability Company as an investment advisor for the local government from June 12, 2019 to December 18, 2019," Anies wrote in the Governor Decree 1380/2019.
The Decree also mentions Investment advisors as referred to in the First Dictum, which is tasked with providing advice and/or recommendations to the Governor of Jakarta relating to Regional Government Investment periodically.
Although PwC has been in charge since June 12, Anies only signed Governor Decree 1380/2019 on September 19, 2019.
