JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Ginanjar, President Director of PT Pertamina Power Indonesia (PPI), is optimistic that the company's cooperation with PT Indonesia Power (IP) will bring many benefits to the Indonesian people.
In fact, according to him, the synergy will produce up to 4,600 megawatts (MW) of electricity to meet domestic needs.
"The cooperation with Indonesia Power will produce at least 4.6 giga watts or 4,600 megawatts," Ginanjar said on the sidelines of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PPI and IP at the Centennial Tower Building, Jakarta, Monday (10/21/2019).
However, he continued, it is possible that the total power generated from the synergy of the two Indonesian state-owned enterprises (SOE) could exceed the currently estimated number.
"This is the new one that is mapped. Actually, the figure can still increase. However, it is clear that 4.6 gigawatts is in sight," Ginanjar said.
Ginanjar hopes the synergy between PPI and IP can run well in the future, become a national pride, and prove to the eyes of the world that SOEs in Indonesia are able to independently manage power generation and clean energy business.
The synergy between PPI and IP will be engaged in the operation and maintenance of new and renewable energy power plants.
