JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Bank OCBC NISP (IDX:NISP) continues to maintain positive growth as of the third quarter of 2019. The positive growth is marked by a 9-percent increase in net profit to IDR2.2 trillion from IDR2.03 trillion at the end of the third quarter of 2018. The growth is mainly driven by Non-Interest Income hike.
As of the third quarter of 2019, Bank OCBC NISP obtained Third Party Funds growth of 11 percent year-on-year (YoY), where the composition of low-cost funds (CASA) reached 38 percent of total funds collected. Deposits also contributed 62 percent to the total third party funds managed by the company. OCBC NISP's total assets rose by seven percent YoY in September 2019 to IDR175 Trillion.
Parwati Surjaudaja, President Director of Bank OCBC NISP, said that optimizing digital initiatives to provide easier, more convenient and simpler banking services for customers had a positive impact on the company's performance, especially in the growth of third party funds and non-interest income.

OCBC NISP continues to channel loans with a total value of IDR120 trillion (gross credit) at the end of September 2019 while remaining guided by the precautionary principle.
This can be seen from the NPL ratio that is consistent under applicable regulations, namelygross NPL of 1.8 percent and net NPL of 0.8 percent.
The potential of the company to extend credit can also still be developed, marked by a Loan-to-Deposit (LTD) ratio of 90.6 percent and a Loan-to-Funding (LFR) of 87.8 percent at the end of the Third Quarter of 2019.
