JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Domestic airline company Citilink is starting a new flight route from Sultan Thaha Airport in Jambi to Halim Perdana Kusuma airport in Jakarta. The new flight route opens today.
Executive General Manager of Angkasa Pura II M. Hendra Irawan said in Jambi, Saturday (11/02/2019), that the flight is available five times a week, namely Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. From Jakarta's Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport to Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport, the flight departs at 05.45 Indonesian western time, and arrives in Jambi at 07.00.
From Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport heading to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, the flight departs at 10.05 and arrives at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport at 11.20 WIB.
With the new flight route, the Citilink airline has greatly helped the people with destinations to East Jakarta, Bekasi and Bogor.
"On that flight route, itilink airline uses Airbus A-320 series," said M. Hendra Irawan.
On the first day of operation of the flight route there were 28 passengers from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport to Jambi, and from Jambi to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport there were 22 passengers.
In addition, through the flight route, it can also be for transit flights to other cities in accordance with the existing route at Halim Airport. At present there are three flight routes of the Citilink airline, namely two flight routes from Sultan Thaha Airport to Soekarno-Hatta Airport, and one flight to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport and vice versa.
"The public still does not know much about this flight route, so there are not many passengers," said M Hendra Irawan.
