Sinar Mas Land Distributes 3,000 Liters of Cooking Oil at Ministry Bazaar

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Sinar Mas Land has participated in a bazaar and low-cost market event at the Indonesia Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing in Jakarta. The event was attended by Indonesia Minister of Public Works Basoeki Hadimoeljono and wife, John Wempi Wetipo (Deputy Minister of Public Works and People's Housing), along with Yakoba Yola Lokbere, Saleh Husin (Managing Director of the President Office of Sinar Mas), and Dhony Rahajoe (Managing Director of the President Office of Sinar Mas Land).

At the bazaar and low-cost market event, Sinar Mas Land distributed 3,000 liters of Filma packaged cooking oil. The subsidized cooking oil are sold specifically to employees within the Ministry of Public Works. Each employee can only buy two liters of cooking oil.

The affordable cooking oil bazaar at the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing is held twice a year, which is ahead of Ramadan and on the Ministry of Public Works Day.

"The Ministry of Public Works bazaar event is one of our CSR agendas, where we help class two and lower employees and honorary workers to obtain cooking oil at an affordable price," said Dhony Rahajoe, Managing Director President Office of Sinar Mas Land, on Tuesday (12/10/2019).

The involvement of Sinar Mas Land in low-cost and affordable bazaars and markets is not new. Sinar Mas Land continues to strive to foster micro and small and medium enterprises (MSME) in a number of markets located in its projects.

The program, called Pasar Rakyat School, was appreciated and promoted by the Indonesia Ministry of Trade, with BSD City Modern Market as a pilot project.

Until now, Sinar Mas Land has fostered nearly 3,000 MSME entrepreneurs spread across BSD City Modern Market, BSD City Intermodal Market, Cibubur City Tourism Market, and Bekasi Grand Wisata Modern Market.

Sinar Mas Land also carries various CSR programs, including the Pasar Rakyat School, the Green Building Program, the Kalijodo Openspace Children's Park development, the Green Festival Program, the Education Festival, as well as offering various scholarships.
