JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Citi Indonesia (Citibank) has organized the Citi Alumni Network event that was attended by more than 100 alumni members. Most of the members are leaders in the private and public sectors.
Batara Sianturi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Citi Indonesia, said the goal of this event was to establish connections between alumni and current Citi employees. This was conveyed by Batara during the event's opening on Friday (12/13/2019).
This event was first held in 2016, and has entered its 4th year.
In this event, Citibank presented the Citi Distinguished Alumni Awards to former Indonesia Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan for the category of Leadership and Ingenuity. An award was also presented to Commissioner of Dompet Dhuafa Ismail Agus Said for the Community Involvement category.
Jonan was chosen because he was considered to have made achievements in business or career gained through extraordinary leadership.
In addition, Commissioner of Dompet Dhuafa Ismail Agus Said was also given an award in the Community Involvement category due to his success in making an important contribution to society and positive impact on the community through the non-profit foundation Dompet Dhuafa.
From a total of 19 awards given to selected Citibank alumni throughout the world, Indonesia won two awards.
