TANGERANG, NETRALNEWS.COM - To support the Indonesian government's efforts to prevent the spreading of Covid-19 coronavirus, Sinar Mas Land is collaborating with Homecare24 in the Gerakan Kemanusiaan Indonesia Melawan Covid-19 (Indonesian Humanitarian Movement Against Covid-19) program to provide free rapid tests to the entire communities.
Herry Santoso, Group Division Head of Digital Ventures and Emerging Business at Sinar Mas Land, explained that the program runs from 7 May to 10 May 2020 at BSD Xtreme Park.
The quick health check-up service is conducted in a drive-thru with two lanes for cars and motorbikes in the BSD Xtreme Park parking area.
Herry said Sinar Mas Land continues to work to assist the government in suppressing the spreading of Covid-19. This time, the company provide support by providing rapid testing drive-thru services in collaboration with Homecare24.
Sinar Mas Land provides facilities in the form of a place in BSD Extreme Park as well as supporting infrastructure such as consumption for medical officers for fast breaking, as well as food for medical officers who are not fasting.
"In this program we call the Humanitarian Movement, our tests are provided free and open to all elements of the public, and especially for people who are currently still working and not being able to stay at home, such as medical teams, day laborers, and so on. Hopefully this program can provide relief and health for the wider public," Herry said on Thursday (05/07/2020).
The food provided by Sinar Mas Land is imported from Sevara Kitchen, which is a premium catering company from BSD City.
Meanwhile, Theresia Lumban Gaol, CEO of Homecare24, said the company provides 100,000 rapid test kits (serology) which will be used in several locations. Meanwhile, in BSD Extreme Park, there will be 2,000 free rapid tests for the entire community.
Furthermore, the company also brought in 100 nurses complete with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) who will be on duty during the examination.
Residents who want to take part in the drive-thru rapid testing must first register in the Homecare24 application to find out the test schedule.
The rapid test drive through service can only accomodate 500 people every day, and will be limited to a maximum rotation of 55 people per hour.
The inspection mechanism is that visitors remain in their vehicles when the rapid tests are carried out. The medical personnel will go to the visitors to take blood samples from the fingertips.
When finished, visitors make the trip back so that no one gets off their vehicle. "The results will appear usually around 10-15 minutes after the test. If the results are negative, the rapid test needs to be repeated after 7-10 days, "said Theresia.
If there are positive test results, visitors will receive education directly from the doctor. The doctor will visit the patient's house so there is no consultation in the field.
Patients are asked to do self-isolation at home for 14 days even though they do not experience any symptoms at all and feel healthy.
