TANGERANG, NETRALNEWS.COM - In welcoming the Eid al-Fitr 1441 Hijriya celebration, Sinar Mas Land has taken social action to help the people affected by Covid-19 to join in the fun of celebrating the day of victory.

In the activity of sharing goodness with the residents, Sinar Mas Land handed out packages containing rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, sardines, syrups, packaged drinks, and snacks.

Symbolically, this assistance was handed over by Managing Director President Office at Sinar Mas Land Dhony Rahajoe, along with Rano Karno, a member of the Indonesian Parliament, to the residents affected by Covid-19.

The delivery of the Eid al-Fitr parcels was held at Jalan Hasyim Ashary, Gang Parit Number 10, RT 06 RW 10, Cipondoh Village, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City.

"This gift is a bond of love in order to welcome the Eid al-Fitr to strengthen the relations and connectivity of Sinar Mas Land with Covid-19 affected residents," Dhony Rahajoe said on Thursday (05/21/2020).

For information, this assistance is one of Sinar Mas Land's corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, and a form of commitment to residents around the Sinar Mas Land business unit in Tangerang City, namely Perumahan Banjar Wijaya housing.

This social action is also the company's effort in supporting government policies related to the implementation of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in several cities in Indonesia to prevent the spreading of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

In carrying out this CSR activity, Sinar Mas Land still adheres to the appeal of physical distancing.

Rano Karno, who is a community leader and Governor of Banten for the period of 2015-2017, also said: "This aid is very appropriate given to residents at the moment before the holiday amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Hopefully, the Eid al-Fitr gift package can be useful for residents around this area."
