SOUTH TANGERANG, NETRALNEWS.COM - The large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) measures are still being implemented in the Greater Tangerang region. The condition has affected people's health and economy.
Sinar Mas Land has delivered thousands of food aid packages to reduce the economic burden of the people affected by the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. The delivery of aid was carried out in phases with a number of community leaders.
Managing Director President Office Sinar Mas Saleh Husein, Managing Director President Office Sinar Mas Land Dhony Rahajoe, took part in the delivery of food aid packages, along with Suryopratomo, a community leader who also served as editorial board of Media Group and prospective Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore.
Sinar Mas Land and Suryopratomo delivered the food aid directly to residents of the Pondok Karya Sub-District, Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday (06/18/2020).
The total food aid delivered to residents is 250 packages. Each food aid package contains rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, sardines, syrups, bottled drinks, and snacks.
"We pray and hope that this pandemic will soon end, and the wheel of life begins to spin again a new order so that the whole community can carry out learning, worship and work again," said Dhony Rahajoe.
Suryopratomo gave appreciation to Sinar Mas Land in caring for the people affected by Covid-19. "At a difficult time like this, we as a nation must work together to help each other. In this case, Sinar Mas Land has implemented noble values by providing food assistance that is needed by the community today. Hopefully the trials that we pass together will further strengthen the unity of Indonesia," he said.
