JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - As a form of compliance with health protocols, the series of commemoration of the 2020 National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN) was held virtually, including exhibition events.

Last year, visitors to the exhibition interacted with social welfare service providers from the government and the public.

Now in the midst of a pandemic, this interaction must be reviewed by prioritizing the health and safety aspects of the participants.

"As a solution, an application for the National Social Welfare Exhibition (KSN) was developed. With this application, exhibition visitors and service providers can interact virtually," said Head of Social Welfare Data and Information Center at the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Said Mirza Pahlevi, in Jakarta, in a written statement received by Netralnews, on Monday (12/21/2020).

As referred to above, by means of an online link with the link address of, this allows service providers to display their works and services. Through a special Social Market feature, it allows the Social Welfare Services to inform the products it produces.

With this service, it enables the facilitation of Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH) participants who have graduated. The micro-enterprises they have developed are displayed here. However, the Ministry of Social Affairs did not create a new marketplace (virtual market).

"Therefore, the Ministry of Social Affairs further encourages the products of the Social Welfare Services to be marketed through the existing marketplace," he said. Until now, the ones who have made the most use of this feature are the beneficiary receivers (KPM) of PKH and alumni or former recipients of the Technical Implementation Unit of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.

KPMs who develop micro-businesses can present their businesses. This is because most of them do not have the courage to create their own selling stores on well-known commercial sites. However, if the KPM PKH graduation economic activity can be accepted by the market, the Ministry of Social Affairs can connect them with the marketplaces.

"Thus this is the first time in the history of the Ministry of Social Affairs, to bridge the marketing of KPM products with the marketplace," Mirza said.

The site has been inaugurated by acting Minister of Social Affairs Muhadjir Effendy, as part of the series of the highlight of the 2020 National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN) commemoration.

In addition to the 2020 National Social Solidarity Virtual Exhibition application, the Minister of Social Affairs also reviewed a special room for the updating of Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS).

As it is known, one of the policy directions for restoring economic conditions as well as efforts to reduce the poverty rate is carried out through updating the quality of the DTKS, which is expanded to 60 percent of the population in 2021, towards 100 percent Social Registration by 2024.

The updating of the DTKS is important for strengthening assistance mechanisms, integrated services, and increasing the accuracy of targeting poverty reduction programs. This is in line with Presidential Regulation Number 86 Year 2020 on the Government Work Plan for 2021.
