Palo Alto Networks Launches Prisma Access 2.0 Work Security Platform (special)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Palo Alto Networks has announced the launching of Prisma Access 2.0 which supports security at work anywhere through the most complete security platform delivered via cloud. Prisma Access, the leading solution on the market, now takes a fundamentally special approach.

"This approach is expected to be able to overcome various limitations in implementing protection efforts by providing comprehensive protection for all existing traffic, not only for web-based applications," said Systems Engineering Manager for Indonesia at Palo Alto Networks Yudi Arijanto at an online press conference, on Wednesday (03/03/2021).

Prisma Access 2.0 features a number of enhancements, including improvements to the infrastructure for self-repair that offers an optimal user experience.

In terms of security, Prisma Access 2.0 is strengthened with Machine Learning (ML) technology to prevent real-time attacks, SWG cloud capabilities for web gateway security regardless of the user's location, and improvements in providing experience in cloud management.

Yudi said that a number of improvements were crucial in line with the increasing need for safe work that could be carried out anywhere without causing consequences in terms of speed, safety and performance at work.

"Equipped with the most complete and most advanced security system in its class, this single platform delivered from the cloud ensures high-performance access and an increasingly optimal user experience," he added.

Prisma Access 2.0 is also equipped with 4.3 million security updates per day or about 25 times more than other solutions, so that companies no longer need to worry about the security of data or users themselves.

Moreover, Prisma Access 2.0 is now also equipped with IoT security capabilities, supporting organizations in implementing protection against security threats that attack IoT without the need to deploy additional sensors or appliance.

Meanwhile, the CloudBlades feature supports simplification of the integration process for third party services delivered in the cloud, starting with RBI services. Prisma Access 2.0 is expected to be widely enjoyed by all customers starting on March 2021, as reported by Antara.
