SUKOHARJO, NETRALNEWS.COM -- The Anti-Terrorism Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) of the Indonesia National Police (Polri) have conducted a search at a suspected terrorist house, Agung (24), in Gumpang Village, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java.

Densus conducted a house in Graha Tiara 2 Housing RT 07 RW 01, Gumpang Kartasura Village, Sukoharjo, at around 13:20 WIB.

Nur Alim (34) Chairperson of RT 07 RW 01 in Gumpang Kartasura Village Sukoharjo confirmed that Detachment 88 had conducted a search at the Graha Tiara 2 Housing house, RT 07 RW 01, Gumpang Village. The police conducted a search for about an hour and he was asked to be a witness.

Reported by Antara, Nur Alim said that he had heard about the arrest of a citizen named Agung after the Fajr prayer. He was secured by the police when he left the mosque not far from his home.

Agung after being secured then the police conducted a search in the afternoon. He was asked to be a witness during the search, but did not know much about what evidence was secured. Detachment brought several cellphones, receipts, and a number of books from the house.

AKBP Police Chief Iwan Saktiadi through Head of Criminal Investigation Division AKP Gede Yoga Sanjaya said his side in the search activities only helped support Densus 88 activities with location security.

According to Yoga, the name of the suspected terrorist confirmed Agung's name, but his party did not know what case involved him.

Based on information at the search location, Agung said that he was a native of Dukuh Mutihan RT 01 RW 06, Bogem Village, Bayat Subdistrict, Klaten. He works everyday selling dawet ice.
