JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Jakarta Provincial Government is trying to limit the spreading of the COVID-19 coronavirus. One of the capital city's administration's plans is by limiting the opening hours of restaurants. This plan is still being formulated.
Cucu Kurnia, Head of Jakarta Tourism Office, said the formulation of restaurant opening hours was based on the direction of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan regarding COVID-19 countermeasures that needed to be done if things got worse.
"Yes (there is a possibility)," Cucu said in Jakarta, Thursday (03/12/2020).
Cucu said his office is formulating this matter. However, related to the banning of crowds such as in malls, tourism sites and so on, Cucu was reluctant to answer further.
"These rules are still being formulated first," he said.
In addition to the ban on visiting crowded places and restaurant restrictions directed by Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to restrict the spreading of Covid-19, the measures may also include limiting school activities, isolation of epicentral areas, revocation of permits already issued by the provincial government, and preparing procedures for cancellation and closure of various public activities, as reported by Antara.
