JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Teuku Neta Firdaus, Executive Director of the Jokowi Center, says the center will launch a COVID-19 coronavirus symptom detection device called Eyeview Temperature Scanner (ETS).

"ETS is one of the best and most recent body temperature detection devices in the world. It can detect COVID-19 symptoms because it uses artificial intelligence through non-contact method," Teuku Neta Firdaus said in a press release on Tuesday (03/24).

He said the ETS device is shaped like a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and is able to detect and track quickly and quickly human body temperature.

This device, Teuku said, is claimed to be very effective in tracking someone with symptoms of COVID-19 coronavirus.

"Body temperature will be detected automatically well and accurately when there are people walking in front of the CCTV-ETS device, as it only takes 0.030 seconds. This tool can detect 16 people at the same time. There is no need for scanning checks one by one as has been done so far," he added.

Teuku continued that the device was considered more effective in supporting the COVID-19 rapid test which would be carried out en masse by the government.

The device is also very suitable for use in airports, places of worship, offices, hotels, schools, stations, hospitals, malls, and other crowded places.

"ETS Center will collaborate with The Jokowi Center to conduct socialization [on this device] to the public," he said.

Teuku Neta said that after launching ETS, The Jokowi Center will open a monitoring center in Jakarta to track the whereabouts of people experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

The flu detector and body temperature can work accurately and concretely if ETS devices are installed in certain places.

"The Jokowi Center will make every effort so that the launching of ETS can be accelerated, God willing, it will be held in April 2020. Using this devie is easier, faster and more accurate in detecting the symptoms of covid-19 throughout Indonesia," Teuku said.
