JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Indonesia Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari P Batubara has received a land certificate belonging to the Social Ministry (now the Ministry of Social Affairs) in Petir, Srimartani Village, Piyungan District, Yogyakarta. The 7,011 m2 land has not not previously been registered with the Indonesia Ministry of Social Affairs.
Former Head of Yogyakarta Social Service Untung Sukaryadi and hamlet chief Srimartani came to Jakarta and delivered the land certificate directly to Social Affairs Minister Juliari on Friday (09/11/2020).
"I express my gratitude and appreciation to Mr Untung Sukaryadi and the Srimartani hamlet chief who have helped find, secure assets and hand them over to the Ministry of Social Affairs. Furthermore, these assets will be used to support the Ministry of Social Affairs' tasks in social welfare development," Juliari said.
He appreciated it because at this time it was quite rare for a former official like Untung to care about and help to secure valuable government assets and increase the country's wealth.
The effort to save these assets was a follow-up to Minister of Social Affairs Juliari's directives who asked the Secretary General and his staff at the General Bureau, the Legal Bureau and accompanied by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Social Affairs to control all the assets and BMN of the Ministry of Social Affairs which are located in various regions.
"Alhamdulillah, we can save these assets. Then they will be used to support the Ministry of Social Affairs' tasks as well as adding to state assets. This is also a serious concern of the Government through the Ministry of Finance as the power of goods," said Secretary General Hartono Laras.
With the handing of the certificate, it adds to the long list of state assets that were rescued and returned to the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The next steps that are immediately taken are official houses in the Setyabudi area, Kuningan, South Jakarta, a plot of land in Makassar, in Semarang, land in the Karanganyar area, Central Jakarta, in Bandung, West Java, and several other areas that are still controlled by 3rd parties.
The Ministry of Social Affairs will also immediately utilize unutilized lands so that they become more productive, which is implemented in accordance with applicable regulations.
Apart from the land in Srimartani, previously the house with the status of a country house was also returned to Jalan Pedati No. 4, Kelurahan Bidara Cina, East Jakarta. This house managed to return to the bosom of the Ministry of Social Affairs in early March 2020, after previously being in the hands of third party. Through long, persuasive and dynamic negotiations, the house that was included in the Class II State House was successfully emptied, and is currently in the process of being used.
The rescue of BMN is a big achievement, after last year the Ministry of Social Affairs managed to regain control of the Cawang Kencana Building (GCK) from other parties which was also a long and tough process. After being executed in 2015, it was apparently still controlled by another party. And it can only be controlled again in 2019, so that it is 4 years in limbo.
Now the GCK is used for the workspace of the Social Welfare Data and Information Center, the Social Counseling Center as well as all the work units for the Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency, including the plan for the comand center in the KND (National Disability Committee) secretariat room.
Assessment room center and meeting hall.
The Secretary General stated that the Ministry of Social Affairs will continue to control and optimize assets. There are steps to control those who are still in trouble. This means that the status belongs to the Ministry of Social Affairs but is still controlled by third parties. "Given that there are still quite a lot of assets whose ownership is legally problematic," he continued.
Therefore, the Ministry of Social Affairs has taken quick steps to carry out Control and Arrangement of all these assets/BMN. Currently, the Ministry of Social Affairs is conducting an inventory again to control the assets/BMN owned by the Ministry of Social Affairs which are widely scattered in various regions throughout Indonesia.
