JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Indonesia Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P Barubara and Mayor of Surabaya Tri Rismaharini have just witnessed the launching of the Rice Social Assistance (BSB) at the Gayungan District Office, Jalan Masjid Agung No 2, Gayungan, Surabaya.
The latest social assistance program from the Ministry of Social Affairs, which was launched last September, is BSB with the target recipient of 10 million beneficiary receivers (KPM) of the Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH), with a set amount of 15 kg/KPM/month for three months.
Rice distributed in East Java Province reaches 77,826,825 kg for 1,729,485 PKH KPMs. Currently, the realization of rice distribution from Bulog's warehouse has reached 47 percent or 36,959,295 kg based on transporter data. Rice social assistance has been distributed to PKH KPMs by as much as 29,902,290 kg (80.91 percent).
"It is hoped that BSB can help the basic needs of every KPM and residents who get rice from Perum Bulog," Juliari said in a press release received by Netralnews on Thursday (10/15/2020).
The Minister of Social Affairs also advised KPMs to make the best use of the assistance that has been obtained.
Also, the Minister of Social Affairs requested that PKH facilitators continue to be enthusiastic about serving residents. This is because, for Juliari, the assistant spearheads the success of the social assistance program at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
So far, Risma said the PKH program in Surabaya runs smoothly every month without any obstacles. In fact, KPM received a program that could receive it well.
Risma asked PKH facilitators to continue serving the community seriously. Because, if it is done on the basis of humanity, God will surely repay that kindness with a greater reward.
"So, because the goal was to alleviate the poverty of the people in order to be prosperous, I beg you to be serious," said Risma.
Meanwhile, DNR Logistics Director Jerry Tengker, assessed that in the distribution of BSB, the company escorted by the PKH Facilitator Team and the delivery itself, DNR would distribute this assistance throughout East Java.
"DNR Logistics distributes together with the PKH facilitators, team and for East Java there are a total of 1.7 million, while in Surabaya there are 114,000," Jerry concluded.
