This was stated in relation to the task of social security net through various social assistance programs of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
"We are very open to being monitored. We held a meeting before the implementation of the program with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and with the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP)," he said on Thursday (10/29/2020).
In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs also requested supervisory assistance through the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and internal examiners through the Inspectorate General.
"We also do not hesitate to cooperate with the Indonesia National Police to take action against irresponsible parties. Several months ago, we and the police also took action against those who claimed to be vendors at the Ministry of Social Affairs. We are grateful for the good cooperation from the police," Hartono Laras said.
BSS or Jabotabek (Greater Jakarta) Basic Food Social Assistance is distributed to 1.9 million beneficiary families (KPM), with a budget of IDR6.8 trillion. Distribution of this social aid has reached stage X from XI, with 100% realization as of October 27, 2020.
The Ministry of Social Affairs also launched BSB (Rice Social Aid) with the recipient being 10 million KPMs from the Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH). The amount of assistance was 15 kg/KPM/month for three months, namely August to October 2020. In September, 30 kg was distributed for the allocations in August and September. Then as much as 15 kg was distributed in October 2020. The rice used as BSB was supplied by Bulog.
It also ensures that social assistance in the form of basic food and rice that is distributed to people affected by the pandemic, meets existing regulations. This is in line with President Joko Widodo's direction through Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P Batubara.
For this reason, the Ministry of Social Affairs monitors, admonishes and conducts other effective measures to ensure that food and rice packages for people affected by the pandemic can be distributed quickly to KPMs, are of the right quality, and are on price.
