JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases in Indonesia, according to the Health Ministry's data which is reported by the COVID-19 Handling Task Force on Saturday (02/27/2021) as of 12:00 Western Indonesian Time, reached 6,208 cases, which makes the total of cases touch 1,329,074 cases.

According to data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force which was received in Jakarta on Saturday, the recovered patients increased to 7,382 people today. The total of recovered patients becomes 1,136,054 people.

On the other hand, the COVID-19 confirmed positive patients who died rose to 195 patients. The total is 35,981 deaths.

There are 55,495 examined specimens per today, from the total of 10,763,757 examined specimens. From that total, the positivity rate in Indonesia becomes 11.1%.

Recently, the Indonesian government also observed 78,746 people who are categorized as the suspect of COVID-19 and their health conditions are being monitored. The number of COVID-19 active cases or the ones under treatment or the ones doing self-isolation is 157,039 people. Nationally, there is a decrease of 1,369 active cases compared to the previous day.

The most additional cases on Saturday are reported to happen in Jakarta, with additional 1,737 cases. It is followed by West Java with 876 cases, Central Java with 630 cases, East Java 445 cases, and East Kalimantan with 378 cases.

The region with the most additional recovered cases is Central Java with 2,500 cases. It is followed by Jakarta with 1,174 cases, West Java with 651 cases, East Java with 517 cases, and East Kalimantan with 467 cases.

The region with the most deaths is Central Java with 66 deaths. It is followed by Jakarta with 44 deaths and East Java with 24 deaths.

The most cumulative COVID-19 case is reported to happen in DKI Jakarta, with a total of 337,637 cases. It is followed by West Java with 210,442 cases and Central Java with 152,701 cases.

The most cumulative recovered cases happen in DKI Jakarta, with a total of 322,207 people. It is followed by West Java with 171,515 people and East Java with 116,245 people. The regions with the most death cases are East Java with 9,088 deaths, Central Java with 6,661 deaths, and DKI Jakarta with 5,453 deaths.
