JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Services supports the efforts to accelerate the response to the pandemic through Covid-19 vaccination activities for State Civil Servants (ASN).

This second vaccination is also attended by Government and Non-Civil Servants (PPNPN). The vaccination is a collaboration between the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Health.

"We would like to thank the Ministry of Health for holding the second vaccination for state workers and the first for PPNPN," said the Head of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force at the Ministry of Social Affairs Sonny W. Manalu at Aneka Bhakti Building in Jakarta, on Tuesday (03/23/2021).

Furthermore, Sonny emphasized that the second vaccination will be attended by middle high-ranking officials, special staff for minister, the minister's technical team, the Secretariat General, Inspectorate General, Directorate General of Social Protection and Security, and Directorate General of Social Empowerment.

"Tomorrow will be followed by work units from the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, the Education, Training and Social Counseling Agency, the Directorate General for the Management of the Poor, as well as UPTs within the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation in the DKI Jakarta area," he said.

One of the ASNs who were vaccinated for the second time, Tyas, 28, from the Public Relations Bureau, admitted that as before, she did not feel anything but just stiffness.

"Just like when I was vaccinated for the first time, I didn't feel anything except from the injection where I felt aches," said Tyas.

Tyas hopes that the vaccination will be held by the government so that it will be accompanied by an increase in information services and patient care flow in the hospital.

"Yesterday, there was a family who was positive for Covid-19 and the Task Force's telephone call center could not be contacted, so they had to find their own information about the flow of treatment so they could get treatment at the hospital," she said.

The vaccination at the Ministry of Social Affairs is the result of collaboration with Ciputra Hospital Citra Garden City and the Jakarta Health Service, and was attended by the Ministry of Health and BPJS Kesehatan Jakarta Province. The committee for implementing the vaccination activities of the Ministry of Social Affairs noted that approximately 1,121 ASN and PPNPN take part in the vaccination.
