Fasting Can Make You Look Glowing and Younger (beauty)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Health expert Dr. Ika Anggraini SpDV says fasting can actually make facial skin glow and stay young. This condition can be achieved if adequate nutrient intake in the body.

Nutrition during fasting can be fulfilled by drinking enough water. Try drinking at least 2 liters or 8 glasses of water per day. It is recommended to drink 2 glasses of water when breaking the fast, 4 glasses at dinner until before bedtime, and 2 glasses during sahoor.

Eat fat that can convert lipids into lipid barriers. Lipid barrier, is the outermost layer of skin that keeps the skin from various factors so that the skin is bright.

"If fasting, eat the right foods, do not have a lot of sweetness and note also that your nutrition is sufficient. Choose also activities that are not much outside the room. So it can make the skin brighter," said Dr. Ika on Netralnews, recently in Jakarta.

Dr. Ika explained in general when fasting, the skin becomes more dull and dry, so that the pores appear larger and fine lines wrinkles appear more real.

In addition, it is recommended to eat soupy foods such as soup, vegetables, for example lettuce, and fruits that contain lots of water, for example watermelons and oranges. These foods can increase fluid intake in the body apart from consuming drinking water.

Also avoid yourself from excessive sunlight because the temperature of the hot environment will increase the excretion of sweat from the body and increase the risk of dehydration.

"Reduce the consumption of caffeine because caffeine is a diuretic that will increase the risk of losing fluid from the body. Fluid loss can then cause dehydration not only on the body, but also on the skin" explained Dr. Ika.
