RABAT, MAROKO, NNC - A Moroccan media reports that the Moroccan authorities on Saturday (1/13/2018) repatriated 339 of its citizens who were trapped in Libya.
"The repatriated Moroccans have arrived at Casablanca airport on Saturday (1/13) morning," reported the Le360.ma news website.
Hundreds of Moroccans, who attempt to enter Europe illegally, were stranded in Libyan detention centers.
Saturday's repatriation was Morocco's third of its citizens in Libya.
In two previous operations, 235 people were repatriated in December 2017 and 190 others in October 2017.
