JAKARTA, NNC - Fiat Chrysler recalled nearly 209,000 minivans and SUVs worldwide to fix brake problem.
The current brake condition can cause the car to stop farther.
This recall includes the 2018 Dodge Journey, 2019 Jeep Cherokee, 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan and 2019 Jeep Compass. Most of the cars are located in the United States.
The company say the brake system was not built with good specifications, allowing the formation of gas bubbles in the brake fluid.
FCA itself has not received complaints or reports from customers on accidents or injuries from this issue.
Owners will be notified immediately and the dealer will replace the brake fluid. Fiat Chrysler say the move will resolve the problem, Antara reported.
