JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Emilia Fransisca (17), a student from SMAK 3 PENABUR, has obtained the third best grades in the 2019 National Examination (UN) in Social Sciences (IPS) in Jakarta.

Emil, her nickname, managed to obtain an average score of 97.88. The details of the values ​​are: Indonesian 98.00, Mathematics 100.00, English 100.00 and Economics 95.00.

She said to Netralnews that she claimed to have received information on getting the third best social sciences national exam in Jakarta through one of Emil's friends. Her friend sent the information through the WhatsApp group and Emil said she was shocked and unsure.

"I was shocked at first. I felt unsure, especially in Indonesian Language Subjects," Emil said to Netralnews on Saturday (05/11/2019).

Emil felt that the learning method she used just ordinary. Studying in school, learning from the materials given by the teacher, asking if anyone is not understood, doing school work. "There is no special learning method, sometimes just looking for examples of problems on Google," Emil said with a laugh.

Emil explained, she usually goes to school from 7:30 to 15:30 Monday to Friday. After school, she sometimes study together with friends, Emil often studies groups to face School Exams (US) and UN. Not only that, she then returned to study the subject matter at bedtime.

"Actually, we are bored (continuing to learn), but we have to learn. Previously there were also school exams, so the study materials were not much different," explained the first child of three siblings.

Through careful preparation, it is not surprising if Emil claimed to be ordinary when facing the National Examination. She also claimed not to be nervous and scared, because she had often took part in Try Out (TO) and had just finished school exams two weeks earlier. "So it was normal," she said.

"The National Examination in the BPK PENABUR school was also computer based. The computer facilities are good, okay. So it's safe," Emil added.

In the implementation of the Computer-Based National Examination (UNBK), Emil claimed to like Mathematics the most. She said Mathematics was an exciting and challenging subject. While the most difficult subjects according to Emil was Indonesian because each answer seems all correct, so it is difficult to choose the right answer.

"During my National Examination I also did not have difficulty dividing my time between school, refreshing, and time with my family. I only do studying at school and at home before I sleep, so there was no difficulty managing my time," Emil explained

Emil claimed she never received coercion from parents to study. She also always remembers the message of her parents, namely when doing something, then give it the best.

After the mational exams, Emil was accepted at Universitas Media Nusantara (UMN) Department of Visual Communication Design (DKV). This is similar to Emil's hobby of drawing. Emil has always been fond of drawing with watercolors, and objects that are often drawn are portraits of people.

Not only that, Emil is also still in the process of Joint Selection to Enter State Universities (SBMPTN) at the University of Indonesia (UI) Accounting Department.

"When it comes to aspirant, I am still confused. So the list of two majors, yes, the aspiration are in the two fields," Emil said.

At the end of the interview, Emil advised the students who were still studying to keep up their enthusiasm, and take advantage of the time at school. She said students need to enjoy the learning process, because without feeling the process, school becomes a short time.
