JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - There are some things to remember when brewing a cup of green tea so that the properties contained in green tea are not lost. Below are some guidelines, as quoted from Boldsky.
1) Types of green tea leaves
Use green tea leaves that are largely unprocessed. Choose loose leaves instead of green tea bags. Sometimes, tea bags limit the release of nutrients into the water. Tea leaves will ensure maximum benefits.
Use a clean, dry air container to store your tea. Store in a dark and cool place, away from the sun. The container must be airtight to avoid loss of nutrients.
Green tea is ready to be consumed without sugar and milk. When brewing, make sure the water temperature is correct, around 71 degree Celcius. If you brew green tea with water that is too hot, nutrients will be loss. When the water is not hot enough, there will be less catechin release into the water. One teaspoon of green tea leaves is enough for a cup.
