Arema Plans to Construct Volley Ball Team to Play in Proliga

BANDUNG, NETRALNEWS.COM - Arema via PT Arema Aremania Bersatu Berprestasi Indonesia which during the period concentrates on football plans to build a new team specialized to participate in Indonesia’s top volley ball competition, Proliga.

PT AABBI’s Director Ruddy Widodo said the plan to construct a volley ball team is not without reason because the company deems volley ball has quite potential; moreover, enthusiasts of this branch of sport in Malang Raya are quite high as well.

“We see there is potential. So, there is no harm if we get plan to build a volley ball team which will play in Proliga,” he said amid organization of PSSI (Football Association of Indonesia) Congress in Aryaduta Hotel, Bandung as cited by Antara.

The Indonesia’s top volley ball competition from year to year indeed becomes its own attraction although there are also hindrances in its journey. However, Arema considered this acceptable in a competition. 

Despite planning to build a volleyball team, PT AABBI has yet to explain in detail when it will be implemented. As of now, the owner of one of the greatest football team is still reviewing, especially in the way of constructing a volleyball team that is going to perform in Proliga.

“We will first learn the regulation. Clearly we are highly interested in developing a team. We see people’s interest especially in Malang quite high,” he added.

What Ruddy Widodo has said in fact is reasonable; moreover, Malang City every year always becomes the host for Proliga. Moreover, this year the place is set again to become the first host for Indonesia’s top volley ball competition on January 27-29, 2017. (*)
