Lorenzo Has Not Set Any Targets at Le Mans Despite Good Record (crash)

LE MANS, NETRALNEWS.COM - Jorge Lorenzo is still having difficulty adapting to the Repsol Honda team. Therefore he was reluctant to speak of the target in the next series, the French MotoGP, although there the rider had a good record.

Previously Lorenzo was predicted to be a tight competitor Marc Marquez after moving from Ducati to Honda. In fact Lorenzo was not even able to break into the top 10 in the standings.

The Spaniard won three bad results from the first four races of the season. In Qatar, Lorenzo only finished 13th, then each finished 12th in Argentina and finally Spain.

The bad results made Lorenzo pessimistic about being able to compete in the forefront at Le Mans later. Indeed, he has a good record by winning five wins in the last 10 years, but Lorenzo prefers to be realistic.

"After a tough weekend, I am happy to be able to ride Honda without a long time between races," Lorenzo said.

"In the past, I was indeed successful in France but we will have to see how this weekend goes."

"The test we took on Monday after Jerez was productive and the important thing was I could get more time on the motorbike that should help us to understand and improve performance," Lorenzo finished.
