JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Mercedes racer Lewis Hamilton has managed to secure the Monaco Grand Prix pole position after breaking the record for the fastest time of one round on Monaco's street circuit with a record time of one minute 10.166 seconds on Saturday.

Hamilton will start the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix tomorrow in front of his team mate, Valtteri Bottas, who are only 0.086 seconds slower, while the Red Bull Max Verstappen driver is in third place, according to the official F1 page.

This world champion completed the qualification in front of his team mate for the first time since the race in Bahrain and secured the front row of the Mercedes in a row.

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel, who had hit the circuit wall in the third training session, was fourth or facing in front of another Red Bull rider, Pierre Gasly, who was fifth.

Behind him, there is Kevin Magnussen (Haas Ferrari) who finished sixth after impressing throughout the qualifying round.

Daniel Ricciardo (Renault), known as the Monaco circuit specialist was in seventh place, with Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) in the front position, Carlos Sainz from (McLaren) in ninth position, and Alex Albon (Toro Rosso) in the order -10.

But the biggest blow experienced by Charles Leclerc who was forced to drop to 16th place because Ferrari did not send it back to the circuit in the first session of qualification. Thus, as reported by Antara, Saturday (05/25/2019).
