JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Granit Xhaka continued to try hard when responding to a number of news reports that his future was increasingly uncertain at Arsenal.

As quoted from the London Football page on Monday (10/6/2019) the Gunners midfielder was being hit by the issue of leaving this summer after Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Xhaka immediately responded by saying he was still determined to play for Arsenal.

Moreover, he showed a consistent appearance as long as the North London club was guided by Unai Emery. He appeared in 40 matches with the Gunners.

Arsenal failed to win the Europa League title, and failed to enter in the last four of the Premier League standings last season. With that result, speculation emerged that Xhaka was ready to lift the suitcase from the Gunners camp.

Reports say that the Swiss international was said to be ready to dock at Inter Milan, although he refused the speculation, and did not want to leave the Emirates Stadium.

"I don't know. I am still bound by a four-year contract here. I just renewed the contract last year. I like being here, as well as my family. This is the most important thing," Xhaka explained when asked about speculation about his move.
