MADRID, NETRALNEWS.COMReal Madrid has signed Takefusa Kubo, dubbed the Lionel Messi from Japan. Los Blancos has just announced the recruitment of the 18-year-old player on its official website on Friday (6/14/2019).

But Kubo will not immediately join the senior team but at Real Madrid Castilla starting next season.

Reporting from Football Espana, Madrid tied Kubo with a six-year contract. To get the former Barcelona academy player, Madrid only spent two million euros.

Kubo spent four years at the Barcelona Academy, La Masia. However, the case of legally recruiting underage players sentenced Barcelona to force Kubo to leave La Masia in 2015.

His career continued in his hometown with FC Tokyo. It did not take long, Kubo immediately made FC Tokyo coach attracted to his talent so he was immediately promoted to the first team in 2016, when he was 15 years old.

At the national team level, Kubo has also been strengthening teams from various age groups. Even the player born June 4, 2001 had made his senior national team debut in Japan in a friendly match against El Salvador on June 9.

His performance with FC Tokyo at the J. League was very impressive. Throughout 2019, Kubo appeared 13 times with four goals and four assists.

Kubo's arrival is indeed covered by the purchase of Madrid star players such as Eden Hazard or Luka Jovic. But the Los Merengues coach, Zinedine Zidane, will definitely give attention to Messi from Japan. If you are able to answer the challenge, it is not impossible that Kubo will be promoted this season by Zidane.
