MANCHESTER, NETRALNEWS.COM - Manchester United is said to be one step away from signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The Crystal Palace defender now only needs to do a medical before being officially introduced as a Red Devils player.

The Wan-Bissaka transfer saga is indeed quite long. Already two initial offers from MU were rejected by Palace. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have raised the offer from 40 to 50 million pounds to Palace.

Well, one of the leading British media, Metro last week reported that MU and Palace finally reached a price agreement at 55 million pounds for Wan-Bissaka.

Wan-Bissaka is currently with the England national team at the Under-21 European Cup. But following the failure of his national team to advance, then the Congo-born defender could have completed the process of moving more quickly.

At Old Trafford, Wan-Bissaka will get a significant salary increase. From previously estimated to be only paid under 30 thousand pounds, the player who plays as right-back will now be paid up to 80 thousand pounds per week.

MU really really need a new player at right-back position. Antonio Valencia's departure plus Ashley Young's old age is the reason Solskjaer asked management to desperately bring in the Bissaka.

Solskjaer has not fully trusted Diogo Dalot who is the only pure right-back they have.

If it is truly realized, Wan-Bissaka will become Man United's second recruit after Daniel James from Swansea City.
