These Four ASEAN Countries Deserve to Host World Cup in 2034

KUALA LUMPUR, NETRALNEWS.COMThe desire of the ASEAN region to host the World Cup together with was received by former Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports Khairy Jamaluddin.

According to him, four countries in ASEAN are very feasible to host the biggest football party in the world in 2034.

The four countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

According to Jamaluddin, as quoted by the OANA news agency, the four countries were considered the most suitable to hold the world's biggest football tournament based on facilities, infrastructure and financial capabilities.

"For reasons of practicality, the host should not be more than four countries. Indeed, two countries are the ideal. Maybe more countries participate in the nomination, but the four countries are the most ideal," he said.

"Football is also very popular in these four countries," Jamaluddin said when asked about his comments on ASEAN's proposal to host the 2034 World Cup.

During the 34th ASEAN Summit in Bangkok last Sunday, the Chair of ASEAN and Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan o-cha announced that all member countries agreed to submit proposals to host the biggest universal football party.
