MANCHESTER, NETRALNEWS.COM - English Premier League giant Manchester United (MU) is reportedly interested in signing former Manchester City midfielder Jadon Sancho, who now plays for German Bundesliga's Borussia Dortmund.
The Manchester-based club has reportedly been willing to set aside 100 million pounds or around IDR1.8 trillion to land the England midfielder.
Sancho has been on MU's player target list since he moved to Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017. Two years ago, Die Borussen only paid eight million pounds to The Citizens to sign Sancho.
Dortmund is said to be open to offers from clubs interested in Sancho, despite having alreadyy renewed the contract for the 19-year-old last August, with a salary of 190,000 pounds per week.
Sancho's contribution to Dortmund since the day he arrived had made MU become more interested in the midfielder, who has won the Golden Player title at the 2017 U-17 European Cup.
In 68 appearances for Dortmund since the 2017/2018 season until now, Sancho has scored 18 goals and provided 30 assists.
In addition to Sancho, MU is also linked with several other wingers, among others Gareth Bale. However, the Old Trafford club has reportedly withdrawn its bid for the Real Madrid outfit player due to Bale's history of injuries that are quite frequent.
As quoted from Mirror, Sancho admitted to choosing to move from Man City to Dortmund to get more minutes to play as well as proving his talent on the pitch.
Moreover, La Liga giant Real Madrid is also reportedly interested in Sancho. The Madrid club has projected Sancho as Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement at El Real.
In an interview, Sancho also said he did not dismiss the possibility of moving to competitions anywhere in the world, including the La Liga.
