JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Bournemouth has announced that goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has moved to Italian club AC Milan on loan until the end of the season as a replacement for Pepe Reina, who joined Aston Villa.
Begovic started 24 league matches last season, but lost his place to Aaron Ramsdale. Therefore, the 32-year-old goalkeeper from Bosnia spent half of the season as a loan player for Azerbaijan club Qarabag.
Media reports in Italy said that Begovic could make his debut with Milan in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia match tomorrow against SPAL, as Gianluigi Donnarumma had a muscle problem.
Reina, 37, joined Villa on loan on Monday to fill in for Tom Heaton, who was forced to miss the rest of the season due to knee injury.
