MANCHESTER, NETRALNEWS.COM - Odion Ighalo has praised Bruno Fernandes, who has immediately adapted well at Manchester United. Ighalo believes Fernandes will still continue to grow with Manchester United.
Both players arrive at Old Trafford during the January transfer window. Ighalo came on loan from Shanghai Shenhua, and Fernandes signed a five and a half year contract with a £ 68 million transfer from Sporting Lisbon
The two players apparently played together at the Serie A club Udinese. Ighalo was not surprised that his former teammate could have a direct impact on the Red Devils because he had always been known to have passing abilities, and had above average creativity.
"This is not my first time playing with Bruno. I played with him at Udinese in 2010," Ighalo told BBC Sport.
"He's a great player. He has vision. He is the one who wants the ball because he can do something fantastic with it if you give him space. He is a good ball crosser and he is what this team needs to score."
"You will still see more of him because he is still not familiar with the Premier League. "Once he is settled, Bruno Fernandes will do even better in this team," he added.
"Before I came here, I knew Manchester United were after him and I hope they will get him because Bruno is a good player and I know he will change the dynamics of the team.
"He won't have the best game every time, but what he will bring to the team will be hard to believe," Ighalo added.
