JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Brooklyn Nets star basketball player Kevin Durant has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19. This information was delivered directly by Durant through a report by The Athletic's columnist Shams Charania.
However, Durant, who won the NBA MVP twice, said in the report that he felt fine.
Earlier, the Nets announced four of their players tested positive for COVID-19, with one player showing symptoms and the three others showing no symptons.
Durant, according to the Charania report, is one that ddid not show typical symptoms of COVID-19.
"Everyone stay careful, take care of yourself and apply self-quarantine. We will all be able to get through this," Durant said in a tweet by Charania.
So far the Nets have not confirmed clearly the identities of their four players who are positive for COVID-19. But, as reported by Antara on Wednesday (3/18/2020), the Nets have informed people who are known to have had direct contact with the basketball players that were tested positive.
Therefore, there are now seven players in the NBA who have tested positive for COVID-19, including Utah Jazz's Rudy Gobert, Gobert's teammate, Donovan Mitchell, as well as Detroit Pistons basketball player Christian Wood.
