Sandiaga Uno and Atta Halilintar Visit Rammang-Rammang

MAKASSAR, NETRALNEWS.COM - Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno and Atta Halilintar have visited the Rammang-Rammang Karst Tourism site in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, on Thursday (06/17/2021).
On that occasion, Sandiaga Uno and Atta Halilintar explored the Rammang-rammang Karst Tourism area using a jolloro boat to see firsthand the current conditions of the area. Officials from UNESCO is set to visit this area soon in the context of assessing a World Geopark heritage.
According to Sandiaga Uno, Atta Halilintar is very observant in identifying photo spots that can be a special attraction for tourists to come and visit Rammang-rammang.
"Atta is good at identifying good photo spots here, which we don't see, but he can see," Sandiaga said.
Atta, who was accompanied by Toriq Halilintar, also brought his creative team in escorting the Tourism and Creative Economy Minister's trip, and participated in promoting various tourist villages in Indonesia, including in Rammang-rammang.
The arrival of the Sandiaga Uno and Atta Halilintar at Rammang-rammang was accompanied by acting Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaeman and the Regent of Maros Muh Chaidir Syam, in the context of the inauguration of the Rammang-Rammang Karst Tour to the Digital Tourism Village.
Sandiaga Uno also took the time to see firsthand the hand-woven hats crafted by the residents of Rammang-Rammang. These hats are one of the local residents' income, through rental services fee IDR5,000 for one time use for each visitor, as reported by Antara.
