PEKALONGAN, NETRALNEWS.COM - Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini continues to monitor the distribution of social assistance in the regions. In every visit to the regions, the Minister of Social Affairs emphasized the accuracy and speed of aid distribution, as well as ensuring that the rights of the beneficiaries were fulfilled.

For this purpose, the Minister of Social Affairs continues to encourage local governments to monitor aid distribution seriously.

Today, the Minister of Social Affairs and her entourage visited to Pekalongan City. Tri Rismaharini, also known as Risma, immediately visited the house of Cash Social Aid (BST) KPM recipients in Panjang Wetan Village, North Pekalongan District, in two different locations. To every KPM she met, Risma always checked the suitability of aid, both in terms of quantity, quality of goods, accuracy of targets, and aspects of fulfilling KPM rights.

On that occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs had a long dialogue with Rudiyanto (48). The Minister of Social Affairs explored to ensure that the price of food commodities purchased at E-Warong must be at a reasonable price.

"KPMs also cannot be given goods in packages, as it is not necessarily in accordance with their needs," said the Minister of Social Affairs, accompanied by Pekalongan Mayor A Afzan Arslan Djunaid, on Tuesday (07/27/2021).

The Minister of Social Affairs seemed unable to hide her disappointment because she found that the prices of goods were expensive, and the goods were also given in packages to BPNT/Staple Food Card receivers.

"I have prepared a system that allows KPMs to choose goods according to their needs. Later, E-warong will compete with other stores. It's a pity if poor people are given higher prices," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

Social Affairs Minister Risma asked all parties to oversee the distribution of social assistance by complying with the principles of accountability and budget transparency. The Minister of Social Affairs also invited the Pekalongan City Forkompimda ranks and the local communities to jointly break the pandemic chain.

The distribution of social assistance in Pekalongan City is quite satisfactory.

The distribution of Cash Social Assistance (BST) in Pekalongan is quite encouraging. The allocation for Pekalongan City BST recipients is 13,990 Beneficiary Families (KPM), as of July 26 at 24.00, 12,180 KPM (87.06%) have been distributed.

The recipients of the Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH) of 3,438 KPM have disbursed as many as 3,176 (92.38%). Then for the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT)/Staple Food Program in May-June as many as 18,054 KPM and have been distributed to 17365 KPMs (96.1%).
