Social Affairs Ministry Assists Disabled Airbrush Business Owner with Three-Wheeled Motorcycle

KENDAL, NETRALNEWS.COM - A happy smile cannot be hidden from the face of Sucipto (40), a resident of Margoyoso District, Pati Regency, Central Java. For the first time in his life, he received accessibility assistance from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. Since the age of 2 years, Sucipto was diagnosed with Poliomyelitis, or polio, which resulted in his legs unable to function normally. "Alhamdulillah, I am very happy, because so far I have never received any social assistance," he said shortly after Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini, also known as Risma, symbolically delivered the 3-wheeled motorbike for him.

"I will use this 3-wheel motorbike assistance to facilitate my work, because as an airbrush modification entrepreneur, there are times when clients ask me to come to their place," he added.
On that occasion, Social Affairs Minister Risma delivered ATENSI assistance with a total value of IDR981,148,000, consisting of assistance for orphans in the form of savings accounts worth IDR304,900,000; accessibility assistance for persons with disabilities (three-wheeled motorbike, adaptive guide sticks, visually impaired sensory water sensors, wheelchairs, medical wheelchairs) worth IDR206.500.000; assistance for basic needs (groceries, daily necessities) worth IDR282,2000,000; entrepreneurship assistance (grocery business, sewing, fish farming, credit counter business equipment, boba juice business, clothes shop, selling LPG, chicken livestock) worth IDR152.848.000; and training assistance (driving courses) worth IDR34.700.000.
In addition to ATENSI assistance, Social Affairs Minister Risma also gave a stimulant for the Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH) graduates of IDR25 million for 10 Beneficiary Recipients (KPM) in Kendal Regency.
"Today is the distribution of assistance to beneficiaries that we have assessed, including people with disabilities and Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH)," Risma said.
Present at the event were 8 members of Commission VIII, Director General of Social Rehabilitation Harry Hikmat, Director General of Social Protection and Security Pepen Nazaruddin, Director General of Handling the Poor Asep Sasa, Kendal Regent Dico Ganinduto, and Head of the Central Java Province Social Services Office.
