JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs has disbursed a total of IDR42.9 billion for the Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana). The charity was transferred directly to their respective accounts through one of the state banks.
"This tali asih (charity) was given to 26,050 people. They are active Tagana personnel proposed by name by address (BNBA) by the Head of the Provincial Social Services Office, and have gone through a tiered assessment starting from the district/city Social Services Office," said Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini in written statement in Jakarta, on Thursday (07/29/2021).
Tri Rismaharini, also known as Risma, said the fund was given to active Tagana personnel. This is done to avoid Tagana members who are registered but have never been to the grounds, but received funds.
"Each Tagana member gets IDR1,500,000 for six months, plus an incentive of IDR150,000, so in total each Tagana gets IDR1,650,000," she said.
